Hyundai Unveils Official Zombie Survival Vehicle at Comic-Con

If you're a fan of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comics and television series, you'll be impressed with what Hyundai recently unveiled at Comic-Con. The South Korean automaker teamed with this generation's George Ramero to create a build a new Hyundai model that's ready to take on hordes of undead.

And what model would that be, you ask? While some might think the Hyundai Tucson that Shane drove in season two of The Walking Dead television series to be a good choice (it's large and sturdy), the company actually went with the smaller Hyundai Elantra Coupe for the sake of maneuverability.

And maneuverability is key in the midst of a zombie outbreak. And you know what else is key? A zombie plow with spikes, armored window covers, a roof hatch to allow passengers to help fight the living dead, a trunk full of electric/pneumatic weaponry, front and back end floodlights for maximum visibility, spiked all-terrain/rally tires, and a CB radio system...Okay that's not one thing, but it does sum up everything that the Hyundai Zombie Survival Machine is equipped with quite nicely.

"Working with Hyundai on this Zombie Survival Machine was a total blast," exclaims Kirkman. "I am excited to share this stunning vehicle with all the fans."1

The 2012 Hyundai Elantra models that you'll find at Murdock Hyundai of Murray are well equipped, but not with any zombie-fighting equipment. Rather, you'll find that they're much more comfortable and inviting. And you can take one for a test drive at 4646 S. State Street, Murray, UT today.
